In 1973 Rob Galloway made his first pair of shoes, some hand stitched sheepskin boots.
Next were sandals, which soon friends and family were wanting. And so, Soul Shoes was born ......
Since those days over 35 years ago Soul Shoes has become known for the uniqueness of their designs, the use of traditional materials and construction methods, and the long lasting quality of their footwear.

Each pair of shoes from the famous Soul Shoes factory in Raglan is made with individual care, pride and attention.

Thru the website we offer some great colours but for something extra special come into our store and choose from our collection of unique and unusual hides.

The first sandals made all those years ago had soles made from old car tyres. We are re discovering that enviromental ethic with the option of 100% recycled soles made from used conveyor belting that is extremley hard wearing.

We also make a range of Leather Bags and Belts.
